Kennels

Our kennels cater for the personal touch therefore we can only accommodate 9 dogs at any time. Small numbers mean a relaxed, calm atmosphere and time for us to get to know our clients pets and remember their likes and dislikes for future visits. We like to think that the dogs are as happy to visit us as they are happy to return home at the end of their holiday.

All of the dogs here benefit from a regular routine. We feed twice a day unless specifically asked not to and everyone has 4 individual exercise sessions per day which can be a walks, a ball game in the extensive exercise park or simply a good sniff around. All exercise is supervised and is on a one to one basis. Should you like your dog to have social time with another, we invite Bobby our own friendly Setter to become a holiday buddy for your dog. He is a very happy, sociable and trustworthy pet. A rescue dog himself he is more than happy to help settle his new friends into their holiday surroundings.

For safety purposes it is our policy that no dogs from different families socialize together.

If your dog has a favourite toy or blanket please do bring them along to make their stay even more homely.

And now for food!! We pride ourselves on the fact that all our guests eat well here and to date have never had food declined. We have a comprehensive range of foods available and we also like including fresh cooked meat and pasta so we can provide the nutrition and interest your dog requires. Please talk to us about any special dietary requirements.

We all know dogs like a treat and we always offer them to break up the day at lunchtime and after late evening exercise. If you would prefer your dog not to have treats outside of mealtimes please let us know.

All our kennels benefit from full insulation, individual heating and rubber matting providing a cosy safe place for your dog to stay. Covered outside runs are accessed through a pop hole and are south facing overlooking open countryside and the horses’ fields. Throughout the day there is plenty to look at to keep all our guests entertained.
