Fuji

My name is Fuji and I am an Australian Shepard dog. I have more energy than you will ever believe and like to be kept busy. The best thing about staying here is the walks, or is it the food…the other dogs around are quite interesting..or maybe it’s Bobby Holiday..well. Whatever!…So much to like!

Babelute

I think you have to hand it to me that I am probably the most beautiful Maine Coon ever! Not the biggest, because we can get to be very large, but definitely the best. My fur is pretty long and sometimes I do get bad hair days. Luckily Stephanie helps me out on those days to get the styling right.

Tommy

Tommy is a first time stayer and has settled in really really well. He is always ready for cuddles and a few cat treats. He looks like the original Ginger Tom.

Dax & Felou

We are called Dax and Felou. We are thirteen months old and this is our first stay at Les Creature Comforts. We were very nervous at first and then we discovered the muddy fields and forgot to worry. We were both snow white when we arrived…..not any more!!!

Toby & Mindy

How they grow. This is Toby and Mindy now aged 2.5 years old. They are brother and sister and still a lively, lovable handful! We first had them to stay when they were just 4 months old on their trial. Now they are old hands and it has been great to see them develop into adult dogs.

Diego

“I am Diego, I am very large and very energetic. I have the deepest bark of any of the kennel guests here. I come every year for 3 weeks while my parents holiday. Walking me is fun because I can just about take anyone anywhere I want to go.”

Perquiz and Bignot

When the gendarmes are off duty so are their cats. These two lovely boys belong to our local bobby. Bon Vacances!!

Juno

10 months and a ball of energy. It is his first stay and he has risen to the occasion. His doggy cousin ‘Doomy’ is a regular but here is Juno ‘giving it large,’ he is a great dog to have stay.

Hannah Altmann

“This is me at home chilling. I like being at home, but I also like being at the Kennels where I can chill too. When I am there I spend quite alot of time with Bobby Holiday, and if I had a Facebook page I would probably like to say I am in a relationship with Bobby. Stewart and Rupert Lane

“Mad Stewart and Rupert Bear have holidayed in various ‘pensions’ over the years and we find that their time spent holidaying with Stephanie at Les Creature Comforts the most agreeable. Her individual care was reflected when, while we were in the UK, she rang for reassurance that I was aware of the cyst on Stew’s back. Her empathy for the animals in her care is evident within 5 minutes of meeting her.” – Mrs Lane

“First day ever in kennels and it didn’t go too bad. Started abit shaky when I realised that Mum was going to leave me here for the day but then I realised I am bigger at four months than most of the other dogs here so didn’t seem so bad.

I had everything I wanted plus Bobby Holiday to play with…great!

“We have just spent our first trial day and night at Les Creature Comforts to get us used to kennels before Christmas when we are spending our holidays here. It was a piece of cake. We played, we slept, we ate, we played, we slept, we ate, we played, we….and if that wasn’t enough we got to be with big Bobby Holiday. Soon we will be bigger than him.”

Dixie and Maya

“Hello there!..Our names are Dixie and Maya. Just want to tell you about the fab place we stay for our ‘doggy’ holidays. It’s called ‘Les Creature Comforts’ and we know why! We’ve been staying there for about 5 years. We love it. The kennels are large and very clean with comfy beds and lots of room for us to run about and get exercise.

Stephanie (the owner) sees to our every need and is very kind to us.

We wouldn’t go anywhere else and are very happy there! We would recommend it to all dogs and cats too.”

“Well this is my final visit to Les Creature Comforts..I have stayed here on many occasions and have always found everything to my liking. On Friday I depart to travel to my new home in the UK with my people. It is a sad farewell for me to say goodbye to Brian and Bonnie who have been fun walking companions, but especially to Bobby Holiday who has been my boyfriend and playmate for a few years now. I will miss him. I hope there is a Bobby in England for me xx Guimauve”

“This was my first stay in this place called “Kennels”. I am nearly two years old and pretty sure of myself, but this was something new. I did have a day and night trial to see if I liked it. This did help as I knew what to expect. The lovely lady Stephanie was like a second mum to me and she was very loving. I never felt lonely and always had Bobby Holiday to be with. Also other dogs and the girls who were lovely. David was special too and always cared for me. “Je m’appelle Chipaune. My mistress is currently buying a new house for us and because of this I am staying at the Cat Hotel for 8 months. Luckily I like it here. Mme Lack brings me delicious food; I particularly like the special cat treats and also the tuna. I must watch my weight though as I will need to stay trim for when I go hunting again at my new home. My room has a good view and my bed is heated. Every morning I wait for my brush and comb to keep me looking and feeling good. My mistress comes to visit me quite often and I make sure I make a real fuss of her xx”

Bonnie

“Hello, my name is Bonnie and I am a frequent guest at Les Creature Comforts. Because we all know each other so well now I am allowed to go out with my friends in the car for walks in the park. Naturally Bobby Holiday escorts us and also Brian. Brian is another frequent stayer and my current boyfriend! Sometimes I escort the ‘new comers’ and show them the ropes. I can be quite busy here what with one thing and another. A woman’s work is never done….”

Spike

“My name is Spike and my favourite hobby is looking for something to eat, I get bucket-loads here! I am getting on a bit now so when my owners travel I get to have a lovely holiday at the local kennels. I think I prefer it there as I have lots of friends to play with and I get more walks, although they have to be short as my legs aren’t what they used to be.”

Boo

“Hi my name is Boo and I like staying at Les Creature Comforts, Stephanie looks after me so well, she looks after my diet when I am here as I can eat for France. I always come home looking well and with a nice shiny coat. My owner has peace of mind when I am at the cattery as she knows I am extremely well looked after and spoiled.”

Winston

“My name is Winston. I’m an Old English Sheepdog and I have spent many holidays at the best dog hotel ‘Les Creature Comforts’ when my Mummy and Daddy travel. I just love this place and I bring my two girlfriends with me as well and they call it a dog’s life. I really like it here and we get good nosh, walks and loving care. Sometimes I have a few problems with my ears and Stephanie and David always make sure I take my medicine and have them treated. Will be back soon.”

Depathele

“Hello…I am called Depathele and I am a frequent visitor to Les Creature Comforts. I am a Braque Francais, and I am indeed French. When I am not on holiday I am a hunting dog. My master runs a large hunting syndicate and I love a good day out with all the other dogs. Luckily for me there are so many great smells at the kennels that my nose is kept busy the whole of my stay!”
